The Pleat Collection celebrates a single folded gesture in redefining a familiar table form. Inspired by the motion and fluidity of pleated fabric, Pleat translates this gesture into the silhouette of both the table base and top.

The curved base catches light across shifting planes, producing a nuanced play of shadow and a quiet sense of motion. This movement carries through to the tabletop, where a gentle imprint in the profile edge echoes the language of the base. Together, these elements establish a dialogue between form and expression: the pleat functions simultaneously as a visual and structural gesture.

Designed for Nienkämper, Pleat reflects a contemporary approach to contract furniture design, one inspired by fashion and textile, and grounded in refined proportion. The result is a composed, architectural form animated by motion and subtle expression.
